Free internet class at Forster Library

Last modified: November 5, 2009 - 2:13 PM

An opportunity to learn how to use the Internet and send emails has been made available at no cost at the Forster Library.

Thanks to a wonderful new arrangement with Great Lakes TAFE the Great Lakes Library Service will be hosting a free Internet training class on Monday 16 November.

The class is aimed at people with limited or no experience with the Internet.  Participants will learn how to access the Internet, search the web and use email.  The session will be run by a qualified TAFE teacher.

"This is a fantastic initiative and we're thrilled with the possibilities," says Library Manager, Chris Jones.  "If this session proves successful we'd certainly like to consider running more classes next year."

This class will run from 10am to 1pm at Forster Library.  Places are strictly limited and bookings are essential.  Contact Forster Library, telephone 6591 7256 to make a booking.
