Great Lakes Council's Administration building is located in Breese Parade Forster. Council has 2 District Offices located in Myall Street Tea Gardens and Cowper Street Stroud, as well as 4 Depots located in Grey Gum Road Tuncurry, Blanch Street Bulahdelah, Britton Court Road Stroud and Wanya Road Tea Gardens.
Council's internal structure is divided between three Divisions:
- Corporate & Community Services
- Engineering Services
- Planning & Environmental Services
