Social PlanLast modified: October 8, 2009 - 10:43 AM
A Social Plan describes the local community; it summarises the key issues and needs facing that community. The document recommends strategies which Council and/or other agencies could implement to address identified needs. It informs the reader of Council's planning process across a range of functions and usually incorporates a community profile and a set of recommended strategies. There are quite a number of different models or forms of Social Plans in place throughout local government areas, and some councils have highly developed plans in place which have been refined over more than a decade. Great Lakes Council is currently compiling its updated Social Plan. Click here to view the 2001-2004 Social Plan Contact details | |||||||||
