Great Lakes 2030 Community Strategic Plan

Close your eyes - and take yourself forward 20 years. Imagine what the Great Lakes will be - what it should be - in the year 2030.

Great Lakes Council is developing its Community Strategic Plan, Great Lakes 2030, which will provide a vision and plan for our community's future.

Great Lakes 2030 will focus on the next 20 years for the Great Lakes. Throughout the course of this community consultation program we will seek to identify the changes you would like to see in the year 2030 and, just as importantly, what you would NOT like to see in 20 years.

Community workshops, focus groups and surveys have been held in our towns and villages, conducted by facilitators independent of the Council. Now the Draft Strategic Plan is being developed.
