- To identify long term use, development, maintenance and operation of major parcels of community land using sustainable development principles.
- To create and maintain service levels acceptable to the community and within allocated budgets.
- To coordinate input and activities from community volunteers to improve standards of maintenance and development of parks and sporting facilities.
- To establish a cohesive landscape image for urban areas.
